The Go Getter

The M&L Technical Systems family has a wide array of talents and traits, but there are a few characteristics we would like all of our employees to share.  An employee may have to complete several jobs in one day or suddenly switch to another job, so our employees need to be hard-working and flexible with a positive attitude.  We also expect our employees to be on time each day; if you have trouble getting to work on time early in the morning, this company may not be your best fit.

The ideal candidate for employment must be willing to learn and show initiative in their work.  We also want employees who are capable of keeping a clean work space on the job site.  Successful candidates will also have excellent communication skills to relay information to fellow technicians, customers, and managers.  M&L Technical Systems also requires that our employees have a clean driving record to be able to safely operate our company vehicles, and passing a drug test is required prior to employment.

Regarding education and experience, we do not require formal education other than a high school diploma or GED.  However, we do prefer our employees to have experience in construction work and have general electrical knowledge.  We also prefer that our employees be technically savvy, as we install and troubleshoot many types of electronic equipment.

M&L Technical Systems offers life and health insurance to full time employees who have been employed for a minimum of 90 days.  Dependent coverage is also available for those eligible who choose to accept it.  Employees can also choose to accept dental and vision insurance after 90 days of employment.

We provide employees with workers’ compensation benefits beginning on the day of employment.  It is our belief that safety is everyone’s responsibility.  These benefits are paid by M&L Technical Systems and provide for partial lost wages and medical and hospital services for on-the-job injuries.

All full time employees, after completing one year of service, are eligible for one week of paid vacation as well as holiday pay.  Vacation is deemed as five working days for a total of 40 hours.

In order to provide equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals, employment decisions at M&L Technical Systems will be based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.  M&L Technical Systems does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, nation origin, age (40 or over), known disability, genetics, political affiliation or belief or any other characteristic protected by law.  This governs all aspects of employment including selection, job assignment, compensation, discipline, termination, and access to benefits and training.

We are looking for energetic and dedicated employees to join the M&L Technical Systems Team, and we are always accepting applications for employment.  If you would like to apply, please visit any of our office locations and request to fill out an application.
